emergency operator.

FCC Rules Part 97.1
lists one of the 5 principles of the
basis and purpose of the amateur service
as "recognition and enhancement of
the value of the amateur service to the
public as a voluntary non-commercial
communication service, particularly with
respect to providing emergency
communications."
Since our service truly
assists the public in time of emergency,
it is imperative that all stations
cooperate with one another. The
effectiveness of this handbook depends
upon the contributions of all emergency
operators!
Suggestions for
additions or changes in this manual are
encouraged.
